Kubbra Sait – Cuckoo of popular web series, Sacred Games

Kubbra Sait is an actress and TV host, who shot to flame playing the pivot role of transgender woman Cuckoo in India’s one of the most popular web series, Sacred Games in 2018. Her role as game show host in Zoya Aktar’s Gully Boy also got noticed. She has played brief roles of Bollywood screen since 2011 film Ready, and gained popularity through web series such as Sacred Games, Going Viral Pvt. Ltd, TVF Tripling and Four Play. Her brother Danish Sait is a radio jockey and television host based in Bangalore, who played lead role in Kannada film, Humble Politician Nograj in 2018.

Kubbra Sait was born in Bangalore in 1984. She started her career as a child TV host at the age of 13. Kubbra moved to Dubai in 2005 where she worked as accounts manager with Microsoft for some time before she moved back to India to pursue a career in acting and modelling. She came to limelight for the first time after she won subtitle Miss Personality in Miss India 2009, and made her screen debut with 2011 Bollywood film, Ready.

After staying in entertainment industry for so many years, she got the breakthrough role of her career through Sacred Games. After this series, she shared screen space with Saif Ali Khan for the second time in 2020 comedy movie, Jawani Janeman, and earned appreciation. She has been featured in TV ads of Airtel, Tata Nano, Big Bazaar etc and is a known face to Indian audience.

1. She was featured in Salman Khan starrer hit films – Ready and Sultan, apart from Jodi Breakers, I Love New Year etc.

2. She is the winner of India’s Best Female Emcee Award.

3. She hosted TV shows such as Star Sports Pro Kabbadi and Stars Ka Tadka.
