Finally, a release date for Jagga Jasoos

Ranbir-Katrina starrer Jagga Jasoos has caught media attention since its making. The lead stars were dating when the movie was announced. Post breakup, movie has faced so many troubles, either with shooting schedules, the tension between the lead actors or its release date. The movie was started in 2014, and 20 days of filming was also done. But the movie got lagged all for wrong reasons. The movie release has been postponed several times.

Now it’s happy news for all Ranbir and Katrina fans. The movie’s poster is out, and it looks interesting. Release date of Jagga Jasoos has also been announced. The movie is slated to release on 14 July 2017. The movie is produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur, Anurag Basu and Ranbir Kapoor, and directed by Anurag Basu, who has earlier directed Ranbir in the highly appreciated film, Barfi. So there are huge expectations from the director and the lead pair.

Imtiaz Ali’s Jab We Met too was one similar film where Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor worked together professionally post their breakup, and the movie proved to be a breakthrough role of Kareena’s career. Let us hope Jagga Jasoos also repeat the same story a decade later. Jagga Jasoos is an adventure romantic film and obviously audience expects a fresh stuff to watch onscreen.
