Vasuki Vaibhav – The voice behind the popular Kannada song, Kaagadada Doniyalli

Vasuki Vaibhav is an upcoming singer and composer of Kannada film industry. He is best known for the chartbuster song Kaagadada Doniyalli he sang for Rakshit Shetty’s Kirik Party. He also composed music score for the movie. Since childhood he has produced, acted, composed music and wrote songs for amateur theatre, which later helped him to gain recognition in the film industry at a young age. In 2018, he composed music for Aatagadharaa Siva and Churikatte. In 2019 he came to limelight after he became a part of the celebrity reality show, Bigg Boss 7 – Telugu version.

Vasuki has rendered his voice for some of the popular songs of Pattabhisheka, Vasundhara, Vismaya, Happy New Year, College Kumar etc. He also composed music for Kanoorayana, Ondalla Eradalla, Sarkara, Rama Rama Re, Koduge: Ramanna Rai etc. His experience in amateur theatre right from childhood in various roles helped him a lot when he joined film industry, and he earned recognition at an early age of 23 or 24.

He was associated with Kannada theatre at the age of 6, and has travelled across the state with his performances. Rama Rama Re in 2016 was his debut work as a music composer. His father K Jayaram was a theatre personality on the technical side who worked in stage designing and lighting, which inspired young Vasuki a lot.

1. Vasuki Vaibhav is basically a theatre artist since childhood who later got into film and music industry.

2. He composed Telugu version of Rama Rama Re, with most of its quirky compositions retained in the new version.

3. He is a theatre producer, stage actor, song writer, singer and composer.

4. His texture of voice for the song Kaagadada Doniyalli which he recorded and sent to Rakshit Shetty was liked by the director, and that’s how the song was born in his voice.

5. During his formative years in music, he has worked as a chorus singer, track singer and even penned lyrics for well-known composers like K. Kalyan, Anoop Seelin, and Raghu Dixit.

6. He holds MA in Journalism from Bangalore University.

7. He conducts workshops at a private school in Bangalore.
