Abir Goswami was a popular television star, film actor and dubbing artist from Hindi entertainment industry, best known for the shows – Kabhii Sautan Kabhii Sahelii, CID, Kumkum, Kkusum, Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara etc. He has done brief roles in Bollywood films like Lakshya, Darna Mana Hai, Rocky, Legend of Bhagat Singh, Ungly, Khakee etc, and gained recognition as a television actor through the show, Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara, where he played the role of Kailash Gupta.

Abir Goswami hailed from Kolkata, born in 1976. He passed away on 31^st May 2013 following a cardiac arrest while using a treadmill. He was survived by his wife Koyal Goswami. He was only 37 years old and his sudden death shocked the Hindi entertainment world.
