Basundi
Ingredients for Basundi:
1. Milk – 1 litre
2. Saffron – A small pinch
3. Cashews/almond/pista chopped – ¼ cup
Sugar – ¼ cup
Cardamom powder – ½ small spoon
Nutmeg powder – A pinch
4. Nuts chopped – To decorate
How to prepare Basundi?
1. Heat milk in low flame and when it boils add saffron.
2. Stir continuously till milk reduces to half litre.
3. Add ingredients no: 3 and cook a few more minutes in low flame.
4. Take off from the flame and allow to cool.
5. Refrigerate it and at the time of serve, decorate with nuts.
