Aparna Vinod – Malayalam film actress of ‘Kohinoor’ fame

Aparna Vinod is an upcoming actress of Malayalam cinema. She marked her film debut with Njan Ninnodu Koodeyundu in 2015 playing the female protagonist and was also seen in a supporting role in Asif Ali’s Kohinoor. She received a major break in Tamil films in 2017 where she appeared in a supporting role in Vijay starrer, Bhairava. Her first two Malayalam flicks released in 2015 were failures, while she tasted success playing the character role of Vaisali in her debut Tamil flick, Bhairava.

Aparna is a Keralite from Kakkinad of Ernakulam district, Kerala. She was born in 1996. She got into films while pursuing BSc psychology from Thrissur. Since school days she acted in school dramas which helped her to bag the lead role of Ninnodu Koodeyundu through auditions. But she has no formal training in acting.

Aparna Vinod – Some interesting facts

1. Her father Vinod is an entrepreneur and mother Vaiga a costume designer.

2. She did her schooling in a boarding school of Thiruvananthapuram, followed by 10th grade from Chalakkudy and higher secondary from capital city.

3. Since school days she used to enact in front of mirror to correct mistakes, and she appeared in many school dramas. She also shot videos for self-study.
