Anusha Mani – The female voice behind ‘Ghulabo’ song

Anusha Mani is a female playback singer from Bollywood, best known for the chartbuster hits – Lazy Lamhe of Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic featuring Ameesha Patel and Saif Ali Khan, and Ghulabo of Shandaar featuring Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. Dil Mein Jaagi of Dev D, Zara Dil Ko Thaam Lo of Don 2, Lahrein from Aisha, Tera Rastaa Chhodoon Na from Chennai Express etc are a few more hits.

Anusha Mani was born into a musical family. She is a trained Carnatic musician. She sang for Gujarati plays during her initial days. Johnny Gaddaar in 2007 marked her film debut as a playback singer. Dhoka was her first recorded song. The item song featured on Ameesha Patel for the movie, Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic brought her initial recognition. However she couldn’t get more opportunities from Bollywood.
