Anaswara Rajan – Malayalam film actress of Udaharanam Sujatha fame

Anaswara Rajan is a teenager actress who works in Malayalam films. She is best known for playing Manju Warrier’s daughter Athira in 2017 movie, Udaharanam Sujatha. She portrayed a 10th standard student, an adamant and short-tempered girl in the movie, winning everyone’s hearts. She has travelled through different dreams like teacher, RJ, ramp model and finally settled with actress.

Anaswara Rajan hails from Minur, Kannur. Though not a trained dancer she actively participated in mono acts and similar events to win prizes at school competitions. She also acts in stage plays of her local club. As an actress she first appeared in a short film and also a few ads before she got selected through auditions for her debut flick, Udaharanam Sujatha. She came to know about the auditions of the movie through their family friend & director Liju Thomas of Kavi Udheshichathu fame.

Anaswara Rajan – Some interesting facts

1. She is not a trained classical dancer, yet won many prizes for mono act, skits and plays.

2. Her debut film Udaharanam Sujatha is a remake of Hindi film Nil Battey Sannata, released in 2016, and it was also made in Tamil titled Amma Kanakku. All the three versions received positive reviews.

3. She has acted in a short film directed by Ratheesh, makeup man of Dulquer Salman, and she also wants to do a movie with DQ in future.

4. She loves cooking and often does experiments in kitchen.
