Alina Padikkal is a successful TV actress and anchor associated with Malayalam television industry. As a TV host, she is best known for hosting D4Dance Junior vs Senior. She joined television industry as a child anchor in 2005 through the show, ‘Butterflies’ on Asianet which bagged Kerala State Television Award for best anchor. She also earned popularity as a manipulative wife Nayana in the popular TV series, ‘Bharya’. The role had negative shades.

Alina Padikkal was born in Thiruvananthapuram in 1993. She joined television at the age of 12, anchoring the show, ‘Butterflies’, and her work was recognized. She was spontaneous and natural while facing camera, which helped her to bag Kerala State Television Award for the best anchor. At that time she was a child who knew little about the significance of the award. Except a small break in 2012 for studies, she has been fully associated with television. D4 – Dance Junior vs Senior, Komady Circus, Hot n’ Spicy, Smart show etc are some of the shows she anchored for different TV channels. She has also hosted live award shows.

She showcased her talent as an actress through ‘Bharya’. Acting roles from films came in. But she is not keen in running around the trees or romancing onscreen with someone. She has been a Video Jockey of Kiran TV, Surya TV, and Asianet Plus and is professionally trained as an anchor.

3. She is an automobile geek, and a lot has been written about her passion of vehicles on social media. She drives bullet and Duke, and all her three cars have been altered to a sporty look. She learnt driving from her mother.

4. Her hobby is to modifying the interiors and exteriors of her luxurious cars.

5. Since the age of 12, she has been anchoring shows, and carried her studies along with it. She anchored the shows after school hours during the initial years.

6. Initially the plan was to do a pilot episode of Bharya, and later it turned a full-fledged role.

7. In future she wants to write civil service exams and join IPS. She is also interested in joining automobile industry. She feels that fame in television industry is not constant, though she enjoys it now.

8. In 2018 her interview for a TV channel created headlines. The video was edited and clips from Malayalam movies were added to form a troll video which went viral. The actress was seen boasting herself in the interview.

9. In 2020 she became a part of Bigg Boss – 2 House, and got nominated in its first episode.
