Nut Pulao

Ingredients for Nut Pulao:

1. Basmati rice – 1 cup

2. Oil – 2 tablespoons

3. Onions chopped – 1

    Garlic chopped – 1 clove

    Carrot grated – 1

    Cumin seeds – 1 tsp

    Coriander powder – 2 tsp

    Cardamom – 4

4. Vegetable stock – 2 cups

    Bay leaf – 1

5. Almonds, cashews – ¾ cup

6. Salt, pepper powder – As needed

    Coriander leaves – To decorate

How to prepare Nut Pulao?

1. Soak rice in water for half an hour. Strain full water.

2. Heat oil in urli and sauté ingredients no: 3.

3. Add rice and fry for 2 minutes.

4. Add ingredients no: 4 and cook rice in low flame till it’s done.

5. Put off the flame and open the lid after 5 minutes.

6. Remove bay leaf and cardamom.

7. Add cashews and almonds, mix well and serve hot.
