Bellamkonda Sreenivas – Telugu film actor of ‘Rakshasudu’ fame

Bellamkonda Sreenivas is a promising young actor and producer associated with Tollywood. He is also a model and dancer. He plays lead roles in films, and owns hit films like Alludu Sreenu and Rakshasudu to his credit. Sita, Kavacham, Speedunnodu and Saakshyam are his other releases, which met with commercial failure. His films like Jaya Janaki Nayaka fared average at box office. In fact the actor got his first genuine hit through Rakshasudu in 2019, remake of Tamil psycho-thriller, Ratsasan released one year earlier.  

Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas was born in 1993 in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh as the son of Bellamkonda Suresh, well-known producer of Telugu cinema. Sreenivas joined film industry the movie, Alludu Seenu in 2014, produced by his father. Despite getting mixed reviews, the movie fared well at box office and the actor received rave reviews dancing skills and fighting sequences. He also received Filmfare best debutante (Telugu) award for this role. After that he starred in a series of films, which mostly ended up as average or flops. In 2019 he returned in a bang with psychological thriller, Rakshasudu directed by Ramesh Varma. His role as a cop who dreams to become a filmmaker was well received. One of the most promising young actors at present, he is one among the most sought actors too.

1. His brother Bellamkonda Ganesh Babu is also a film producer.

2. He graduated in acting from Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute at Los Angeles, USA before joining acting field.

3. Apart from films, he has also acted in short films.

4. After delivering three flops in a row, Bellamkonda Sreenivas registered his first authentic hit through Rakshasudu, financed by his father.
