Jus Reign – Canada-based Indian YouTuber
Jus Reign is a very prominent name among Canada-based Indian YouTubers, best known for comedy and parody videos uploaded in Punjabi language. In collaboration with Canada-based Indian artist Rupan Bal he has uploaded numerous comedy videos on net, and most of them have become instant hits. He has been a part of two Punjabi films in 2015 and has also appeared in one web series. He is a recipient of numerous honours for his YouTube videos, which focuses on real-life situations of South-Asian community.
Jus Reign was born in Canada to Indian parents in 1989. To please his parents who wanted to see him as a doctor, he studied biomedical at the University of Guelph. He switched to marketing the second year. During those days his comedy sketches became popular, and later his parents supported to pursue a career in this field. He never let his parents’ expectations fail and succeeded as a Youtuber. He started his own cloth line and also worked as DJ during his initial days.
Turban controversy in 2016 was widely discussed in social media as racial discrimination, when he was asked to remove turban at Toronto airport. After security check, though he asked a mirror to replace it, authorities denied it. He had to walk across the terminal to a public restroom with his head uncovered, which was an embarrassing incident to him. He openly expressed his views in social media, which garnered worldwide attention and was widely discussed in social media.

2. His father initiated him to the world of tabla at the age of 5. After learning for a short period from Ustad Purushottam Singh, he got bored with it, and threw tabla at the face of his teacher.
