Alia Bhatt is a Bollywood actress and playback singer. She marked her acting debut with Karan Johar’s Student of the year in 2012, and since then delivered hits one after another. Currently she is one of top paid actresses of Bollywood who achieved stardom in her early 20s. Her natural acting skills have also helped her to deliver some of finest Bollywood performances of the recent times, and her each acting role is unique.

Born as the daughter of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and actress Soni Razdan, she appeared as a child artist in 1999 movie, Sangursh. As an adult actress she attended the audition for Student of the year and grabbed the lead role. She also lost a few pounds to grab the role. After giving remarkable performances in Highway, 2 States and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, she delivered three hits in 2016 – Kapoor & Sons, Dear Zindagi and Udta Punjab and rose to stardom at the age of only 23. Raazi, Gully Boy and Badrinath Ki Dulhania are other major hits of her career. She received Filmfare award for best actress for Udta Punjab and Filmfare Critics’ choice award for Highway.
