Decorated Vadakkumnathan, Thiruvambady & Paramekkavu During Thrissur Pooram

Thrissur Pooram is one of the major temple celebrations of Kerala. A feast for eyes, decorated elephants representing Paramekkavu Bhagavathi temple and Thiruvambady Krishna temple will stand in two rows facing each other at Thekkumkadu Maidan in front of Lord Vadakkumnathan. Kudamattom – display of colourful umbrellas is one of the major highlights. Though the whole event surrounds around Vadakkumnathan, the temple doesn’t participate in any event.
