Healthy Colourful Upma

Ingredients for Healthy Colourful Upma:

1. Rava – 1 cup

2. Beet root – 1, grated

3. Onion – 1, finely chopped

4. Tomato – ½

5. Green chillies – 2

6. Red chilli – 1

7. Curry leaves – As needed

8. Salt – As needed

9. Coconut oil – As needed

How to prepare Healthy Colourful Upma?

1. Heat oil in a pan or kadai and sputter mustard seeds.

2. Sauté red chilli and curry leaves.

3. Add chopped onions, green chillies and tomato.

4. Add grated beet root and mix well the ingredients.

5. Close the lid and cook the ingredients in low flame.

6. Add rava to it and roast for a while.

7. Then add sufficient boiling water to cook it.

8. Also add salt, mix well the ingredients and close the lid.

10. Cook the ingredients in low flame for a few more minutes, and serve hot.
