Keema Rice
Ingredients for Keema Rice:
1. Mint chicken – ½ kg
2. Biryani rice or jeerakasala rice – 3 cups
Water – 6 cups
3. Coconut oil – ½ cup
Ghee – ½ cup
4. Ginger – 1-inch piece, chopped
Garlic – 1 (as whole), chopped
Green chillies – 6, chopped
5. Onions chopped – 2 medium sized
Tomatoes chopped – 2 small
6. Salt – For taste
7. Coriander leaves chopped fine – 50 g
How to prepare Keema Rice?
1. Mix oil and ghee and heat in a pan.
2. Sauté ingredients no: 4.
3. When a pleasant aroma comes out, add tomatoes and onions and sauté again.
4. When onions are well sauted, cook chicken adding sufficient salt.
5. When chicken is well cooked, add washed rice to it.
6. Add salt and 6 cups of water and cook rice.
7. Decorate with coriander leaves and serve hot.
