Prepare a budget for time and live tension-free

If it’s already late to wake up in the early morning, the whole rhythm of household chores will change. Then what’s left is pressure, tensions, anxiety and mind full of thoughts, how to reach office after completing daily activities. If it’s the case of a working woman, what to say more! Many people are among us who never manage to reach at time in office, and it ruins the happiness of whole day if you have a strict boss.

Only 24 hours is available for all of us. Some of us manage it properly and find some leisure moments as well, while a few others never learn it. But do you know, if you make slight changes in your 24 hours, you can manage everything properly at the right time, live a tension-free and relaxed life and spare a few hours for your hobbies or to spend with your dear ones? If you are willing to make a budget for your income and expenses, why can’t you do it for managing time as well? Yes, you heard it right. Time management is nothing short of money management because wise use of your time can also give you financial benefits in return. Here I suggest a few simple methods.

Time budget in accordance to the nature of the job

1. Through financial budget most of the families bring a control to the outflow of money through expenses. From today onwards, prepare a time budget also. Assign time for job, sleep, rest, leisure, exercise, reading, travelling, study and whatever task you want to do. When you assign time for a particular task or entertainment activity, make sure that it’s practically possible to achieve the goal. Prepare a time table keep it in mind.

2. It’s always a better idea to prepare time chart themselves. Each member of the family can be assigned to prepare their own time tables, according to their job, responsibilities, ability and speed. Parents can help their small children to prepare timetable. For whoever it may be, it should reduce overall work pressure, increase disciple in activity as well as performance.

3. Calculate the time you waste before television, computer games, internet or whatsapp. If you are a person who values time, you will make better decisions while preparing time chart.

4. If you are a person who has a habit to wake up in the early mornings, use your fresh time for creative activities.

5. Now most of us have developed a bad habit to spend too much time for chatting in the late nights and watching TV. When you sleep very late, it affects the overall functioning the next day. If your brain doesn’t get enough sleep, it affects both physical and mental health. While setting the time table, assure that you get 8 long hours of sleep.

We can’t control time, but we can control ourselves

1. Time Management is a very common term familiar to everyone. But most of us believe that it includes techniques to control time. But in real time, it is not so. Actually through proper time management we manage and adjust ourselves to the course of time and those 24 hours we receive us gift from time every day. We can’t control time, but we can control ourselves and make wise use of time we get every day.

2. Calculate the time needed to be spent for completing a task. Keep in mind the allotted time since the beginning of doing that task. Never drag yourself and spend more time on something giving excuses of ‘perfection’. Instead aim yourself to complete the task within the allotted time.

3. Never put on shoulders too many responsibilities on your shoulders. Choose tasks according to your talent, proficiency and capability to complete within the stipulated time. While doing tasks, be aware of the string of activities to be completed and also their priority. Complete the task in neatness, that’s also very important.
