Palak Puri

Palak Puri & Chettinad Mutta Masala

Ingredients for Palak Puri:

1. Wheat flour – 1.5 cups

2. Palak – 1 cup

3. Green chillies – 4

4. Fennel seeds – 1 tsp

5. Sugar – ¼ tsp

6. Salt – As needed

7. Oil – For frying

How to prepare Palak Puri?

1. Wash palak leaves and chop into fine pieces.

2. Make a fine paste of palak, green chillies and fennel seeds using a mixer.

3. Take wheat flour, sugar and salt in a bowl, and mix well.

4. Add palak paste to it and knead the dough for puris.

5. If needed, add more water.

6. Spread puris and deep fry in hot oil.

Palak Puri (Recipe 2)

Ingredients for Palak Puri (Recipe 2):

1. Wheat flour – 1.5 cups

2. Palak chopped – 1 cup

    Garlic cloves – 3

    Green chillies broken – 2

3. Salt – As required

    Turmeric powder – A pinch

4. Oil – 1 table spoon

5. Lukewarm water – 1 cup

How to prepare Palak Puri (Recipe 2)?

1. Make a fine paste of ingredients no: 2.

2. Take a mixing bowl and add wheat, salt and turmeric powder.

3. Mix the contents well and add palak paste to it.

4. Finally add lukewarm water and prepare the dough.

5. Apply a thin layer of oil over the surface of the dough.

6. Allow it to rest for half an hour and make puris as usual.
