Fish Curry

Ingredients for Fish Curry:

1. Fish pieces – ½ kg

2. Chilli powder – 1 small spoon

    Coriander powder – 1 small spoon

    Turmeric powder – ½ small spoon

    Fennel powder – ¼ small spoon

    Pepper powder – ½ small spoon

    Ginger – 1-inch piece

    Garlic – 6 cloves

3. Coconut scrapped – ½ cup

4. Coconut oil – 2 big spoons

5. Mustard – 1 small spoon

6. Shallots chopped – 4 small spoon

    Green chillies chopped – 3

    Curry leaves – 2 stalks

7. Tamarind – 1 small ball sized, soaked in water

8. Curry leaves – 2 stalks

    Salt – For taste

How to prepare Fish Curry?

1. Clean fish pieces.

2. Soak ingredients no: 2 in a little water.

3. Make coconut paste, by grinding in a mixer.

4. Heat coconut oil, sputter mustard seeds and sauté ingredients no: 6.

5. Add soaked ingredients no: 2 and sauté well.

6. If needed, add excess water.

7. Add fish pieces along with tamarind juice and mix the curry well.

8. Add curry leaves and sufficient salt too.

9. Cook fish in low flame till it’s done.

10.Serve hot with rice or any main course dish of your choice.
