Chendamuriyan

 
Chendamuriyan is an easy dish made from Ethapazham, a type of banana very commonly available in south India. 
 

Ingredients for Chendamuriyan:

1. Ethapazham (A type of banana) – 5
2. Water – 1.5 cups
3. Jaggery melted and filtered – 1 cup
4. Coconut milk first – ¾ cup
5. Cardamom powder – ½ small spoon
 

How to prepare Chendamuriyan?

1. Chop banana to 1 inch thick round pieces and cook adding water.
2. Once it’s done add melted jaggery to it and cook for 5 more minutes till it turns thick.
3. Add coconut milk and allow it to boil.
4. Add cardamom powder, stir well and put the flame off.
