Top 25 Bollywood Songs of Hrithik Roshan

Hrithik Roshan – The dancing star of Bollywood owns many hit films and chartbuster hit songs to his credit. He dances exceptionally well, and most of his fans love to watch him dancing. Many of his songs are specially choreographed and tuned, so that ‘the dancing star’ can entertain his fans through his dance moves. His flexibility in dancing is incredible and the energy level of his songs also. Through this column I would like to list top 25 of most popular Bollywood songs featuring Hrithik Roshan.
 
1. Ik Pal Ka Jeena I would like to begin the list with one of the top dancing numbers from the movie, Kaho Na Pyar Hai, the debut movie of Hrithik which established him as star as well. All the songs were huge chartbusters in the year 2000 and his uncle Rajesh Roshan too earned him Filmfare award for best music after a long time. The song was sung by Lucky Ali, and lyrics penned by Vijay Akela.
 

2. Na Tum Jaano Na Hum I am not saying about Hrithik’s movie with the same title. Na Tum Jaano Na Hum sung by Lucky Ali is the most romantic track of Kaho Na Pyar Hai, and earned him Filmfare award as well. Songs of this particular song were penned by Ibrahim Ashk. 3. Agar Mein KahooThe movie Lakshya had two popular songs featuring Hrithik Roshan – Mein Aisa Kyun Hoon choreographed by Prabhudeva and the popular duet – Agar Mein Kahoo. This beautiful duet featuring Preity Zinta and Hrithik also had a few lovely steps. Sung by Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik, music was composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, and lyrics penned by Javed Akhtar who scripted the movie as well.

4. Abhi Mujh Mein – One of the finest songs of Sonu Nigam’s career, this particular song from the new version of Agneepath was written by Amitabh Bhattacharya and composed by Marathi composers, Ajay-Atul.
 

5. Aaja Mahiya – One of the top songs of the year 2000, Fiza was only Hrithik’s second release. This lovely duet was sung by Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik. This beautiful song pictured on Neha Bajpai and Hrithik was composed by Anu Malik, and lyrics penned by our great Gulzar. Hrithik was also seen in the popular item number, “Mehboob Mere”. But this song is best remembered as Sushmita Sen’s song.

6. You are My Soniya – This song exclusively belongs to Kareena Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan, who danced extremely well in the song belonging to the movie – Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghum. He was also featured in “Deewana Hai Dekho” and “Bole Chudiyan”. But my pick is definitely You are My Soniya. The song was composed by Sandesh Shandilya and sung by Alka Yagnik and Sonu Nigam. Lyrics were penned by Sameer.
 
7. Koi Mil Gaya – All the songs of Koi Mil Gaya became chartbusters. Yet my pick is the title track sung by Udit Narayan and Chitra. Also read: Top 20 Bollywood songs of Chitra. It’s magic, Idhar Chala Main Udhar Chala and Jadoo songs also became popular. Music was composed by his uncle, and lyrics written by Dev Kohli.
 

8. Meherbaan Hua – Definitely the top romantic track of Bang Bang. All the songs composed by Vishal-Shekhar, and sung by Ash King, Shilpa Rao, Shekhar Ravjiani. Hrithik and Katrina Kaif shared amazing screen chemistry in the song throughout. Also read: Top heroines of Hrithik.

9. Uff Mere Dil Mein – Yet another top track of the album – Bang Bang, it’s one of my personal favourite from Hrithik songs. Its irregularity in rendition by Benny Dayal and Harshdeep Kaur gives a unique appeal to this song. The movie had top 4 songs. The dancing numbers – Bang Bang and Tu Tu Mere featuring Hrithik too deserve special mention in my list.        
 

10. Aap Mujhe Achche Lagne Lage The successful pair of blockbuster Kaho Na Pyar Hai was repeated in Aap Mujhe Achche Lagne Lage released two years later. However the movie failed to create KNPH magic and failed miserably at box office. But the songs composed by Rajesh Roshan got noticed. Hawaon Ne Yeh Kaha and Tum To Sagar Jaise are other popular songs. Ibrahim Ashq penned lyrics of this extremely popular duet sung by Abhijeet Bhattacharya and Alka Yagnik.

11. Socho Ke Jheelon Ka Mission Kashmir was his third release in a row, and received only moderate success in box office. Songs were instant hits. Apart from the romantic track Socho Ke Jheelon Ka, the movie included one more popular duet – Chupke Se Sun, and both were sung by Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik. Actually it’s difficult to make a choice between both these duets composed by Ehsaan Noorani and Shankar Mahadevan respectively.

12. Bumro Bumro – This folk song was the top chartbuster song of the album – Mission Kashmir. Music was composed by Ehsaan Noorani, and song sung by Shankar Mahadevan, Jaspinder Narula and Sunidhi Chauhan. This highly energetic song featured Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta. The movie also included one more dance track – Rind Posh Maal featuring Hrithik Roshan, and sung by Shankar Mahadevan. Preity regularly worked with Hrithik Roshan in the early 2000s, and Mission Kashmir was their first movie together.
 
13. Senorita – One of the finest songs of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, the movie was a box office blockbuster too. Music was composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy with lyrics by Javed Akhtar. Ik Junoon is also a highly energetic song of the album. Quite surprising, Hrithik did playback singing for the first time for this song, accompanied by Farhan Akhtar and Abhay Deol, and it worked. 14. Kaho Na Pyar Hai Kaho Na Pyar Hai is one of the best albums of the new millennium. There is not even a single weak track in the musical album, and included all types of songs. The title track featured Hrithik Roshan and Ameesha Patel, and one of the lovely pictured romantic songs on silver screen. Also read: Heroines who debut opposite Hrithik Roshan. 

15. Sitarom Ki Mehfil – I would also like to include this dance number from Kaho Na Pyar Hai in my list of top 20 songs. Lyrics were penned by Ibrahim Ashk and sung by Babul Supriyo. Soft melody “Chand Sitaare” is one of the rarest songs sung by Kumar Sanu for Hrithik. I would also like to mention “Pyaar Ki Kashti Mein” – a dance sequence sung by Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik.
 

16. Dil Tu Hi Beta Krish 3 had a few lovely songs, and this particular romantic song needs special mention. The song featured Kangana Ranaut and Hrithik Roshan. This song was composed by Rajesh Roshan, and sung by Alisha Chinai and Zubeen Garg. “Raghupati Raghav” is yet another popular track of the album.

17. Chanda Tare – Kareena Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan shared screen space for the first time for the movie, Yaadein. Songs composed by Anu Malik became extremely popular. This soulful melody is a sad song sung by Sukhwinder Singh & Kavita Krishnamurthy. It’s one of the rarest songs sung by Sukhwinder Singh for Hrithik.
 

18. Jab Dil Mile – Yet another melodious track from Yadein. This duet was sung by Udit Narayan, Asha Bhonsle and Sukhwinder Singh. I would like to mention a few more songs pictured on Hrithik The title track, Chamakti Shaam Hai and Aye Dil Dil Ki Duniya Mein, and he was also seen in the most popular – Eli Re Eli, better known as a Kareena song.

19. Main Hoon Woh Aasman – It’s my most popular track from the album Krish. The song featured Priyanka Chopra aside Hrithik, and the song was sung by Rafaqat Ali Khan and Alka Yagnik.
 

20. Koi Tumsa Nahin Krish was a huge blockbuster and its catchy songs too. The movie got noticed for a few romantic tracks composed by Rajesh Roshan. The song was sung by Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal. The duo also sang the popular duet – “Pyar Ki Ek Kahani”.

21. Hai Ram Ye Kya Kar Daala Na Tum Jaano Na Hum coined from a popular song of Hrithik’s biggest hit, Kaho Na Pyar Hai flopped at box office. But songs got noticed. Hai Ram Ye Kya Kar Daala is my personal favourite, and featured Esha Deol. Tum Meri Bahom Mein Aa Na Sake is yet another popular song of the movie, sung by Kamal Khan featuring Hrithik.
 
22. Dil Kyon Yeh Mera – Definitely one of the top romantic tracks featuring Hrithik, this particular song belonged to the movie, Kites. KK did playback singing, and the song was composed by Rajesh Roshan. KK rendered his voice for yet another popular solo – Zindagi Do Pal Ki. Both the songs get highly noticed and appreciated. 23. Tu Hai Throughout his film career, Mohenjo Daro is the only the second film for which A. R. Rahman composed music. Definitely Tu Hai is the most popular song of the album. A. R. Rahman rendered the song aside Sanah Moidutty.

24. In Lamhon Ke Daaman Mein In terms of performance Jodhaa Akbar is regarded as Hrithik’s finest movie. His chemistry with Aishwarya Rai got noticed. All the songs got noticed, and I picked “In Lamhon Ke Daaman Mein” to include in this list.  “Jashn-E-Bahaara” and “Khwaja Mere Khwaja” are other popular songs of the movie.

25. Chali Aayee Chali Aayee  Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon composed by Anu Malik is best known for the songs of Chitra. Hrithik was featured in many popular songs of the movie such as Kasam Ki Kasam and Bani Bani. But the credits went to Chitra and Kareena Kapoor. So I decided to include at least one song of the movie to my list. Sanjana I Love You is yet another popular duet featuring Kareena and Hrithik.
 
Dhoom-2, Guzarish and Mujhse Dosti Karoge! are other major Hrithik musicals which couldn’t find place in my list.
