Tanya Hope – South Indian Actress and Model of Appatlo Okadundevadu fame

Tanya Hope is a model turned actress. After winning the title of FBB Femina Miss India Kolkata, she became one of the finalists of Femina Miss India 2015. In 2016 she marked her film debut through Telugu film Appatlo Okadundevadu. Her lead role was appreciated and the movie was a box office hit. Since then she is regular in films belonging to Kannada, Tamil and Telugu and has done 10 films till now. Three of her Kannada films – Amar, Home Minister and Khaki releases in 2019. She played one of the three lead heroines and Arun Vijay’s love interest in highly acclaimed Tamil psychological thriller, Thadam.

Tanya Hope was born into a business family of Bangalore. Started her career with modelling, she moved to films. A winner of Miss India Kolkata and finalist of Femina Miss India 2015, this successful model received numerous offers from film industry which she accepted. She marks her Kannada debut in 2019 with three films slated to release. Thadam marked her Tamil debut in 2019.

Tanya Hope – Some interesting and less-known facts

1. She took training in modelling at Tiara Training Studios, Pune. It helped her to win the beauty pageant Femina Miss India Kolkata, followed by her memorable performance at Femina Miss India, where she finished as a finalist.

2. She schooled from Sacred Hearts Girls High School, Bangalore and graduated from University of Westminster, London, where she majored in International relations.

3. Sketching and dancing are her favourite hobbies.
