Broccoli – Honey Payasam

If you are interested in trying some innovate dishes quite different from normal ones, Broccoli – Honey Payasam is one of the best options. It’s not the case of broccoli or capsicum, you can prepare variety payasam and pradhaman dishes from normal vegetables like drumstick, elephant yam, bitter gourd etc. This recipe was published on Mathrubhumi Nagaram on August 30. 2017. It’s a good choice for diabetic patients who are always forced to stay away from sweets and sweet dishes.

Ingredients for Broccoli – Honey Payasam:

1. Broccoli – 1 cup

2. Honey – ½ cup

3. Milk -1/2 litre

4. Fried cashew pieces – 10 in number

How to prepare Broccoli – Honey Payasam?

1. Cook broccoli in half litre milk.

2. Add half litre honey to it and cook in low flame till contents get thickened.

3. Put the flame off and add fried cashews.
