Kaja Rolls

 

Ingredients for Kaja Rolls:

 
1. Maida – 200gm
   Vanaspati – 75gm
   Cardamom powder – a pinch
   Baking powder – 1 pinch
   Water – As needed
2. Maida – 100gm
    Khova (milk thickened by heating) – 120 gm
   Water – as required
3. Oil – for frying
4. Sugar – To prepare syrup
 

How to prepare Kaja Rolls?

 
1. Mix contents no: 1 to prepare flour, add sufficient water.
2. Mix contents no: 2 to prepare flour separately.
3. Spread Mix no: 1 into a rectangle shape with 1 mm thickness.
4. Spread Mix no: 2 also into a rectangle shape with 1 mm thickness, and place above the first sheet.
5. Then roll both these sheets together, and cut the cylinder into pieces with 1 cm length.
6. Heat oil in pan and fry till golden brown.

7. Dip them in sugar solution, and serve after sometime.
